German Omelet with Bacon

Repeat if you think that the salt has not dissolved completely. Now add 2 cups of iced water to the mixture and stir it well. If you feel that the brine is not cold enough, add more ice as scallops will cook prematurely if the brine s not cold enough. Refrigerate it for some 30-40 minutes. (Tip: If you happen to get your hands onto dry scallops, you can skip the brine and instead rinse them with plain water and allow them to dry on paper towel for some 10 minutes.)
  2. Drain the wet scallops: The next part comes the draining of scallops. Do it very carefully to avoid damage to their texture. Place them between layers of 5-6 paper towels to let them completely dry. Leave it like this for 15 minutes.
  3. Seasoning: even though you can use the seasoning of your own choice, peppers can give your scallops a great taste.
  4. Searing in butter: Use a heavy bottom pan to melt butter to a high temperature. Make small batches of scallops and add them to the pan. Remember to keep batches small. Large batches will crowd the pan and will hinder proper searing of your scallops.
  5. Flip the scallops: It will take approximately 3-4 minutes for scallops to get a golden brown crisp. Flip them carefully by using tongs and let them sear for 3-4 minutes more.

  • Steamed Brussels sprouts- 2 cups
  • Extra virgin olive oil- 2 tablespoon
  • Wine vinegar, white- 1 tablespoon
  • Fresh basil leaves- for garnishing

Directions:

  • Cut the steamed Brussels sprouts into two halves.
  • Boil 6 cups of water in a medium sized pot. Add pasta and salt to the boiling water and cook till pasta is al dente. It should be ready by some eight minutes. Drain the water and keep the pasta aside to cool.
  • Check after 3-4 minutes and the pasta is cool enough, mix chopped tomatoes, Brussels sprouts and mozzarella balls. Now add vinegar, olive oil, pepper and salt to it. Toss it for some 2 minutes and garnish it with fresh basil leaves. You might also like to add a few drops of lime to add to its flavors.

Next mix lemon juice or distilled vinegar with water and rub that stain until cleaned.
